Laurie Scudder is a graduate of the State University of New York at Plattsburgh (BSN), the University of Maryland (MS), and the George Washington University (DNP). She has practiced as a pediatric nurse practitioner in a variety of urban and suburban primary care clinical practices.
Dr. Scudder is a Senior Clinical Service Professor in the School of Nursing at George Washington University, having taught formerly at the University of Maryland and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. She has been with Medscape since January 2005.
