Tina Bhutani, MD, MAS, FAAD

Dr Bhutani is a board-certified dermatologist and clinical researcher practicing in San Francisco, California. She received her medical training at Keck School of Medicine of USC and completed her residency in dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr Bhutani has expertise in the treatment of psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and other inflammatory skin diseases. In addition to seeing patients, she is president & CEO of Synergy Dermatology and associate adjunct professor in the Department of Dermatology at UCSF School of Medicine. Dr Bhutani is passionate about improving the care and lives of patients with inflammatory skin disorders and is involved in many studies focusing on the development of new treatments for these diseases and learning more about mechanisms of disease initiation and maintenance. She has a particular interest in the impact of disease on patient quality of life and mental health, as well as the use of wellness-based behavior modification to improve disease severity and reduce the risk for associated comorbidities. Dr Bhutani has published more than 150 articles in peer-reviewed journals and has spoken at national and international conferences on these topics. She is a member of the National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) Scientific Advisory Committee and has received research grant funding from the NPF, the Dermatology Foundation, and the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA). Dr Bhutani also serves as the editor-in-chief for the journal Psoriasis: Targets and Therapy.
Lianne S. Gensler, MD

Dr Gensler is a professor of medicine at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF); director of the Spondyloarthritis Research Program and Clinic; and director of the Rheumatology Fellowship Program at UCSF Health and San Francisco VA Medical Center. Dr Gensler served as the chair of the SPondyloArthritis Research and Treatment Network (SPARTAN) from 2016 to 2018 and currently serves on the Executive Committee for the Assessment of SpondyloArthritis International Society (ASAS). Dr Gensler has been the recipient of the Ira M. Goldstein Teaching Award in Rheumatology, the Spondylitis Association of America Young Investigator Award, and the UCSF Research Mentoring Award. Dr Gensler has also been inducted into the Council of Master Clinicians at UCSF Department of Medicine.
